The world is alive, brimming, bursting with Heavenly possibility. Miracles are all around us…touching us, every moment of our day… when we walk in the realm of Heavenly possibility–believing that our actions–everything we do–serves a higher purpose… laying it all down at the feet of our God… seeing the world through His eyes, He will bless our work. He will give us the desires of our heart, He will take us places and perform miracles that we cannot even begin to imagine. God would run to the ends of the earth to save just one of us… to capture just one tear. We are His vessels… reaching out… touching… drying tears…the work begins on our knees…
I was praying the other day when God spoke to me that sometimes in life we strive to achieve a goal or to get to a certain level or to meet some kind of personal expectation–we strive for significance, thinking that once we have arrived at a destination, we will be fulfilled, happy, satisfied–feel significant, accomplished. But God says that the real work is in the doing… the journey… on your way to your goal. How many opportunities to recognize His miracles do we miss along the way because we are so focused on the “goal”? How often do we miss his gentle taps on the shoulder?
Watch over your journey today. Guard it tenaciously. It is yours… and yours alone. Look for God’s Light in everything. He is here with you, with me… all around us. Reach for Him. Let’s ask him to touch everything we touch so we may be a blessing in service to a hurting world.
