Day 46
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. Mark 10:14-15
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:4
Having a child-like sense of wonder is as if you are seeing things through the eyes of a child—without doubt—without analyzing—just taking things for what they are—not questioning. God loves this kind of faith and humility.
We are on day 46 of our workbook, which discusses having a child-like sense of wonder. I created a picture from a picture of a card that my 84 year old neighbor gave me yesterday for Valentine’s Day. I have always thoroughly enjoyed her child-like sense of wonder about everything in her life. The way she sees things brings joy to my heart. I want to be like that, don’t you?… someone who brings joy into the hearts of others–because I radiate joy and wonder.
God says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28–shed your worries today and give yourself permission to see things from a child-like perspective. Create moments. Celebrate milestones. Acknowledge funny things in your life. Laugh out loud. Be humble.

Love today’s art. So pretty and colorful. And isn’t it a gift to have a child-like sense of wonder? Our Lord said for us to be as little children in order to get into the kingdom of heaven. Susan
